PGDip Couns (CYP), Dip Couns, MBACP
COVID-19 - From Monday 13th July I will be able to see clients for face to face sessions. I will continue to offer online and telephone counselling to those who prefer to meet remotely. Concessions are available for keyworkers.
A space to heal
As a qualified and experienced counsellor, I offer a safe and confidential space where clients can process difficulties and explore feelings without being judged. My aim is to provide a therapeutic experience where individuals can feel valued and their story is listened to.
Counselling is not only a space to talk, sometimes it’s easier to express ourselves through art and creativity; in my practice there is a wide variety of materials, and different therapeutic techniques can be used – art, music, puppetry, sand tray…
I have extensive experience in working with adults as well as with children and young people, both in my private practice and through my commitment to various charities. In the past few years I have been working as school and community-based young people counsellor for Blaenau-Gwent Youth Services in South Wales. As a BACP member I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice, and I am committed to Continual Professional Development.
